Cougars Lose By a Run at Washington
Rohnert Park catcher Gabe Allen was sensational. He went 2-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. But it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Washington beat the Cougars, 4-3. Washington, with the win, climbs to 6-36.

Jeremy Childers was 1-3 with a walk for Washington. The 23-year old third baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With two out and runners on 1st and 2nd, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring single off Antonio Renteria. It was his 12th hit of the season.

Childers called the win "a team effort."
