Alcoa Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
Alcoa beat Mescalero at Alcoa Grounds, eking out a 4-3 win. The triumph was primarily due to first baseman Alex Torres. He was 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The 5th-place Millionaires bumped their record to 13-27.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With no one out, Torres hit a fastball from Scott Clary for a run-scoring single. The Millionaires, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"The crowd was raucous," said Torres.
