Aurora and Washington got after it at Red Barons Ballpark.

Brian Phillips, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2020 draft, led Aurora to a triumph over Washington. The final score was 10-6. The left fielder went 3 for 4, falling a triple shy of the cycle. He scored 2 runs and added 2 RBI. Aurora sits in second place in the Eastern AA Southen Division at 27-12.

Aurora relied on the hitting of Roberto Perez to pick up the win. The right fielder ripped a 2-run single in the top of the fifth inning to put the Suns on top, 10-3. For the game, Perez had 1 triple and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"We swung the bats good throughout the lineup," said Aurora skipper Arturo Colon.
