Getting an impressive start from Orlando Roque, Rohnert Park beat Traverse City by the score of 2-1. Willie Krell sewed up the save, his 1st. Rohnert Park is now 18-23, Traverse City 21-20.

Rohnert Park needed the clutch hitting of Steve Nalbach to seal the deal. The center fielder swatted a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Cougars on top, 2-1. For the game, Nalbach had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
