Boise pitcher Chris Robles did his part in helping his team beat the Encinitas Eskimo Brothers, 8-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. Robles, the winner, moves to 3-1. He threw 6 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 2 and giving up 3 walks. The Dread Kings improved their record to 26-14 by beating Encinitas.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Joel Thompson? The Boise third baseman had a 2-run double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Dread Kings on top, 2-1. For the game, Thompson had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
