The Libertyville Polecats and Corpus Christi Mermen completed their game despite the rain.

Libertyville right fielder Andy Burns had a 4-RBI performance, which helped his team down the Corpus Christi Mermen, 10-6, in 15 innings. The Libertyville win streak is now 3 games.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the 15th. With one out, Burns hit a fastball from Kevin McGaha for a grand slam home run. The Polecats, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

Burns said afterward that he was "glad the fans were treated to a good ballgame."
