Cougars Sneak Past Millionaires, 2-1

The Rohnert Park Cougars handed the Alcoa Millionaires a 2-1 defeat at Ballpark of Greenup. Third Baseman Bryan Lewis starred for Rohnert Park. He was 2-4 with a home run. Rohnert Park reliever Jim Hudson was the winner. His record is now 3-0. The losing pitcher was A.J. Robinson. Rohnert Park occupies 5th place in the Eastern AA Southen Division at 19-20.
Rohnert Park got a knockout punch from Kody Garcia. The shortstop hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the 11th inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.
"This game had its share of tense moments," Garcia said, postgame.
