Bears Rally to Eke Out Win
The Traverse City Bears beat the Alcoa Millionaires, 6-5, in 10 innings. Traverse City pitcher and Glasgow, Delaware, native Michael Brumfield led the way. Quincy Donaldson was the winner in relief. His record is now 4-0. The losing pitcher was Jim Unknown. With the victory, the Bears record stands at 19-18.

The Bears got a clutch hit from designated hitter Oren Banks. In the bottom of the tenth, he hit a run-scoring single to right, to win the game for the Bears.
