Mora Leads Cougars to Win
The Rohnert Park Cougars defeated the Riverside Rotters, 8-4. Doing his part was right fielder Felix Mora, who went 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 3 and driving in 4. Willie Krell got the win, improving to 2-1. He held the Rotters to 2 runs on 3 hits over 6 innings, while striking out 6 and walking 2. Craig Tasillo earned the save for Rohnert Park, his 3rd.

With Rohnert Park leading 1-0 in the top of the third, Mora hit a sinker from Jimmy Grams for a bases-clearing double. It was his 1st double of the season and put the Cougars ahead, 4-0.

"The name of the game is scoring runs," Mora said. "We did a good job of that today."

Rohnert Park is now 18-19. Riverside is 23-14.
