Running Rebels Mow Down Millionaires, 10-1
The Fresno Running Rebels pinned a convincing loss on the Alcoa Millionaires, 10-1, at Running Rebels Ballpark. Jacob Tubman was a main factor in the win. He went 3-5 with 3 singles, while scoring 2 times for Fresno. Fresno reliever Dennis Gronewold picked up the win, upping his record to 3-2. Art Forbes absorbed the loss. Fresno has run its win streak to 9 straight.

Ronnie Riemenschneider drove in one run for Fresno. The 22-year old catcher had a key at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Chris Johnson. It was his 13th RBI of the season.

"They took it to us," said Alcoa manager Victor Gonzalez.
