The Rotters grabbed a win, 4-1, at Ballpark of Boise, overcoming a fine effort from Boise pitcher Nelson Martinez. Martinez went 6.2 innings and allowed no runs. Earning his 9th save for Riverside was Ryan Butler. Riverside is now 26-10.

The game was at a stalemate until third baseman Bob de Leon came to bat in the top of the eighth. Facing Boise pitcher Jordan Gaines, he hit a 0-1 fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Riverside on top, 2-1.

de Leon called the win "a team effort."
