The Boise Dread Kings defeated the Alcoa Millionaires, 6-2, in Eastern AA action at Alcoa Grounds. Boise pitcher Davey Swenson had a standout performance. Mike Trivett closed out the game, earning his 2nd save. With the win, Boise pushed its record to 23-14.

Boise used a clutch at-bat from Ricky Colon to capture the win. The right fielder hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Dread Kings ahead, 5-1. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"I think we did a good job of looking for pitches we wanted to hit and put good swings on them," said Boise skipper Sean Drummond.
