Suns Topple Wildthings, 6-4, as Maley Shines
Aurora second baseman Jim Maley helped his team beat the Washington Wildthings, 6-4. Maley, who is tied for 8th in the E-AA with a .338 batting average, went 4 for 4 for the Suns. Carlos Diaz was the winner in relief. His record is now 2-1. The losing pitcher was Ryan Perkins. Getting the save was Edgar Minero, his 2nd.

There was more than one reason the Suns beat the Wildthings, but Maley's big at-bat in the top of the third was an important factor. He staked his team to a 1-0 lead when he hit a run-scoring single.

"It's nice to come out on top today," said Maley.

Washington is still trying to get off the schneid, having lost 9 in a row.
