Boise Dread Kings starter Chris Robles found his groove in his team's 2-1 win over the Alcoa Millionaires. Picking up the save was 25-year old left-handed pitcher Jordan Gaines. With the win over Alcoa, the Dread Kings improved to 23-12.

Boise used the timely hitting of Jim Hall to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Dread Kings on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"Chris is tough to beat when he's hitting his spots," said Boise manager Sean Drummond.
