The Alcoa Millionaires defeated the Boise Dread Kings by the score of 5-1, with the biggest share of the credit going to catcher Justin Kreger. Kreger was 2-3 with 2 singles and a walk for the Millionaires on the day. Alcoa reliever Justin Andersen picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Devon Trimble absorbed the loss. Bill Rutland earned the save for Alcoa, his 1st of the year.

Alcoa left fielder Ben Keith contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the second. With two down, he hit a sinker to center field for a 2-run single. It was his 30th hit of the season and put the Millionaires ahead, 3-0.
