Encinitas picked up a win at Razor Sharks Ballpark, bumping off the Mesa Razor Sharks, 8-0. Pitcher Brian Hayden was a major reason the Eskimo Brothers emerged victorious. Hayden yielded no runs over 7.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 1, and struck out 5. His record improves to 2-1. With the win, Encinitas pushed its record to 22-13.

Encinitas took the lead, 3-0, on Nate Bacle's 1st home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Mesa pitcher Stuart Maness in the top of the seventh.
