Bears Lose Versus Riverside, 7-3
The Riverside Rotters picked up a win at Greensboro Grounds, dropping the Traverse City Bears, 7-3. Jimmy Grams, who leads the E-AA in quality starts with 6, was the difference-maker. The Rotters now have a record of 23-9 with the win over Traverse City.

Greg Mattox drew 2 walks, while scoring 2 times for Riverside. The 24-year old first baseman had a key at-bat in the top of the fifth. With no one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring walk off Michael Brumfield. It was his 5th walk of the season.

"Jimmy pitched like a son-of-a-gun," said Riverside manager Hermenegildo Fernando.
