The Libertyville Polecats beat the Traverse City Bears, 5-2. Libertyville pitcher and Owasso, Oklahoma, native Mitch Wojciechowski led the way. The winner was Wojciechowski. He threw 6.2 innings allowing 1 run. The loser was Kevin Gibbons. Jay Yeiser closed the game out for Libertyville, earning his 7th save.
