Suns Pull Off Thrilling 6-4 Win in Extras
The Aurora Suns outlasted the Rohnert Park Cougars, 6-4, in 10 innings. Brian Phillips played a key role, going 2-for-5 for Aurora. The win went to Brandon Dix in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Jim Unknown took the loss. The triumph puts Aurora at 16-15 for the season.

Phillips had a game-changing home run in the top of the tenth. On a first pitch slider from Jim Unknown, he banged a 3-run home run to left-center, giving the Suns a 6-3 lead. It was the 6th home run of the year for Phillips.

"Our approach was just to try to see something over the plate and be aggressive," Phillips told the Aurora Daily News.
