Behind a solid performance from catcher Mike Fogg, the Winchester Mountaineers defeated the Aurora Suns, 11-4. Fogg hit 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice for the Mountaineers. The winning pitcher was Omar Cons. His record now stands at 4-0. The right-hander went 5 innings, allowing 2 runs on 3 hits for the Mountaineers. Winchester, now 20-6, is setting the league on fire so far.

Ryan Burchett hit a 3-run home run off Charlie Hunter in the bottom of the first, which put the Mountaineers ahead, 3-1. In addition to the homer, Burchett had 1 double, while going 2 for 4.
