The Boise Dread Kings withstood an impressive performance by Fresno third baseman Trent Lovoi to defeat the Running Rebels, 10-9, at Ballpark of Boise. Lovoi went 2-2 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 times. Boise reliever Oliver Murga picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Jordan Clayton absorbed the loss. With the loss, Fresno is 14-11.

The climactic moment came in the bottom of the ninth for Boise. That's when 27-year old catcher Brian Hubert hit a run-scoring double off Jordan Clayton to win the game. The home crowd erupted in celebration.

"We need to string a few more wins like this one together," said Hubert.
