Aurora wasted an exceptional performance by pitcher Gil Backos, falling to the Libertyville Polecats, 1-0. Backos threw 7.0 innings of 5-hit ball for the losing team. Brian White earned the save for Libertyville, his 3rd of the year. Early on, the Polecats, at 17-6, have played an impressive brand of baseball.
