Encinitas 14-9 After 2-1 Win Over Boise
In a low-scoring contest between the Encinitas Eskimo Brothers and the Boise Dread Kings, 26-year old left-handed pitcher Dustin Engstrom proved to be the difference. The Encinitas left-hander earned props for his performance in the 2-1 Eskimo Brothers win. The save went to Danny Wagner, his 2nd this season. The win gives Encinitas a record of 14-9.

With scoring opportunities rare, the Eskimo Brothers had to cash in when they had the chance. One such opportunity presented itself in the bottom of the second, when third baseman Dean Hostetler hit a run-scoring single. The single came off David Damian and made the score 2-1, Eskimo Brothers. Hostetler went 1 for 3 with a walk.

"I don't lose sleep over a loss," said Hostetler. "But I have better dreams after a win."
