Extra-Inning Win by Rotters Over Suns
Riverside picked up a win at Suns Field, bumping off the Aurora Suns, 4-1. Pitcher Dan Woods was a major reason the Rotters emerged victorious. Nick McKinney claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 3 innings. His record stands at 1-0. The victory makes Riverside 13-9, as the team seeks a return to the playoffs in 2024.

Gene Wenzel came through with a big-time hit for Riverside. The first baseman smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the 16th inning to give his team the lead, 2-0. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
