The Mesa Razor Sharks defeated the Boise Dread Kings, 4-3, in Eastern AA action at Ballpark of Boise. Mesa pitcher Oscar Flores had a standout performance. Picking up his 2nd save was 27-year old left-handed pitcher Victor Benavidez. The win lifts Mesa to a record of 11-11.

Mesa used the timely hitting of John Richins to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Razor Sharks on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"If I go out there and help the team win, that's all you can do," said Flores.
