Running Rebels Drop Another One, 6-1
The Aurora Suns defeated the Fresno Running Rebels, 6-1, in part because of designated hitter Jamie Dillard. Dillard was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for the Suns. Jon Dye picked up the win with 6.2 innings of work. He allowed 1 run on 6 hits, while walking 3 and striking out 6. On the season, he is now 2-2. The Running Rebels, now 6-14, continue their inauspicious start.

Aurora took a 6-1 lead on Dillard's 6th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which he hit off Victor Montoya in the bottom of the eighth, propelled Aurora to the win.
