Fresno Running Rebels starter Scott Clary hurled his team past the Libertyville Polecats, 4-2. Fresno is still hoping to get on a roll. The win is just their 6th in 15 games.

Fresno used a timely hit from Chris Noyes to get the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Running Rebels ahead, 3-2. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it made an impact.

"It's so much easier when you throw good pitches," said Clary.
