Cougars Walk It Off for 8th Win of Season
Rohnert Park first baseman Mike Gohlke helped his team beat the Alcoa Millionaires, 9-8. Gohlke, who is tied for 4th in the E-AA in home runs with 6, went 4 for 7 for the Cougars. Rohnert Park reliever Oscar Zuniga picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Huang Chai was saddled with the loss. The Millionaires, at 4-11, have stumbled out of the gate.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the 14th. With one out, Gohlke hit a fastball from Huang Chai for a run-scoring single. The Cougars, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Gohlke.
