Running Rebels Suffer 7-4 Loss to Mesa
The Mesa Razor Sharks knocked off the Fresno Running Rebels, 7-4, at Razor Sharks Ballpark. John Richins was a big reason Mesa won. The second baseman went 4-4 with a home run and 3 singles. Isiah Key picked up the win, lifting his record to 1-2 on the season. He struck out 3 and walked 2 in 5 innings, while yielding 3 runs. D.J. Attridge locked down his 2nd save.

Mesa first baseman Alex Aime contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the third. With two down, he hit a cutter to left field for a run-scoring single. It was his 24th hit of the season and put the Razor Sharks ahead, 3-2.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Aime told the Mesa Daily News. "It's as simple as that."

Fresno drops to 9-8.
