Lovoi Pops Two Homers in 12-7 Win for Mescalero
Getting offensive support from Trent Lovoi, the Mescalero Chiefs topped the Washington Wildthings, 12-7. Lovoi was 4-5 with 2 home runs and 2 singles for the Chiefs. Getting the save was Gotam Muthupalaniappan, his 2nd. Now 3-12, the 2026 Wildthings have been wretched so far.

Mescalero used the hitting of Jeff Harding to pick up the win. The catcher clubbed a 2-run single in the top of the third inning to put the Chiefs on top, 7-1. For the game, Harding had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
