At Running Rebels Ballpark, the Fresno Running Rebels and Boise Dread Kings were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

The timely hitting of Manuel Campos helped the Boise Dread Kings down the Fresno Running Rebels, 7-4. Campos was 3-6 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3 for the Dread Kings. Devon Trimble got the win, improving to 2-0. He worked 5.2 innings, giving up 4 runs on 7 hits, while striking out 7 and walking 3. Tom Herzing recorded the save for Boise, his 2nd of the season.

In the top of the second, Campos had a 3-run home run for Boise. It was his 7th home run of the season and put the Dread Kings on top, 4-2.

"There's so many different ways you can win a game," said winning manager Sean Drummond.

For the Running Rebels, the loss makes their record 5-9.
