Riding the 2-hit performance of the 27-year old third baseman Alex Natera, the Winchester Mountaineers defeated the Traverse City Bears, 8-0. Now 10-3, the 2025 Mountaineers have been phenomenal so far.

Winchester got a big at-bat from Alamo, California native Pat Grayson, who in the bottom of the first hit a 2-run triple. It was his 1st triple of the season and put the Mountaineers ahead, 4-0.

"They just got us," said Traverse City manager Zach Hildebrant, "and that's all I can say."
