Washington Tumbles Again, Falls, 12-3, to Mesa
A good performance from catcher Brian Sanders helped the Mesa Razor Sharks defeat the Washington Wildthings, 12-3. Sanders was 4-5 with a double and 3 singles, while scoring 3 times for the Razor Sharks. Oscar Flores locked down his 1st save. Mesa, now 6-2, is setting the league on fire so far.

Jaden York had a big 2-run double for the Razor Sharks in the bottom of the first inning. With Mesa trailing 1-0 and the bases loaded, he got a curveball from 24-year old right-handed pitcher Nate Roberson and swatted a double to left-center. It was his 3rd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Razor Sharks ahead, 2-1.

"I still think this team can play even better," York told the Mesa Daily News.
