The Aurora Suns defeated the Alcoa Millionaires, 8-6, at Suns Field. Justin Bellamy, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2019 draft, was a standout performer for Aurora. His 4 hits included 3 singles and 1 double -- this in addition to the 1 run he scored and 2 he knocked in. The Suns, now 9-0, have stormed out of the gates.
Aurora took control in the bottom of the sixth. With two out and runners on 1st and 3rd, Justin Gordon hit a run-scoring single to make it 4-3, Suns.
"Everybody is chipping in right now," said Bellamy. "That's what makes it so much fun."
