Eskimo Brothers Take Tight Tangle
The Encinitas Eskimo Brothers topped the Boise Dread Kings, 6-5, with left fielder Dan Smith playing a big role. Smith hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice for the Eskimo Brothers in the win. Boise falls to 2-5.

Smith had a game-changing home run in the top of the 11th. On a 1-1 fastball from Tom Herzing, he banged a solo home run to left, giving the Eskimo Brothers a 6-5 lead. It was the 2nd home run of the year for Smith.

"It was a test of wills," said John McKearney, the Encinitas skipper. "I'm glad we came out of it with a win."
