The Alcoa Millionaires beat the Traverse City Bears, 14-3, at Alcoa Grounds. Dillon Reed starred for Alcoa. He went 2-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 4. With the win, Alcoa improves its record to 1-4.

With Alcoa leading 10-3 in the bottom of the eighth, Reed batted against Traverse City pitcher Jim Unknown. Reed hit a slider to right for a grand slam home run. His 1st home run of the season put the Millionaires on top, 14-3.
