Aurora Suns starter Gary Day pitched a strong game against the Traverse City Bears at Suns Field, leading the Suns to victory, 6-4. Kevin McGaha recorded his 2nd save for Aurora. Aurora sits at 3-1 in the early going.

Aurora designated hitter Adam Peterson contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the third. With two down, he hit a curveball to left field for a run-scoring single. It was his 2nd hit of the season and put the Suns ahead, 2-0.
