George Sweeton was a major factor in the 7-2 Libertyville win over Fresno. The Polecats right fielder hit 3 home runs. The win gives Libertyville a record of 1-1.

In the top of the second, Sweeton had a solo home run for Libertyville. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Polecats on top, 2-1.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Sweeton told the Libertyville Gazette.
