Z's Stymied by Purple Wave, Breen
|
New Rochelle picked up a win at Knights Ballpark, bumping off the Ann Arbor Z's, 6-0. Pitcher Brian Breen was a major reason the Purple Wave emerged victorious. Michael Klee, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 1st save. The Purple Wave raised their record to 21-26.
Breen, now 3-5, scattered 4 hits over 7.2 innings for the Purple Wave.
"Brian made some big pitches when he needed to," said Purple Wave manager Zach Freeman.
