Fighting Quakers Earn Win with Late Rally
The Quebec Fighting Quakers did just enough to secure a victory over the Fremont Marshalls, 4-3, in 11 innings at Toros Ballpark. Nobody did more than pitcher Mark Herrera. Sean Rowe picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Kasey Acree suffered the loss. Quebec has now won 3 straight, while the Marshalls have lost 3 in a row.

The Fighting Quakers got a clutch hit from second baseman Mario Sixtos. In the bottom of the 11th, he hit a run-scoring single to center, to win the game for the Fighting Quakers.

"We came out on the wrong end of this one," said Fremont skipper Elias Nunez.
