Ann Arbor Loses Again
Westwood first baseman Jonathan Ellis helped his team beat the Ann Arbor Z's, 6-1. Ellis, who is tied for 7th in the StC in home runs with 9, went 1 for 2 for the Bruins. Ann Arbor has now lost 7 consecutive games.

The Bruins benefited from an error in the bottom of the fourth inning. Westwood was leading 2-1 when Severo Salcido hit a 2-run single that was misplayed. It put Westwood in front, 4-1.

Salcido told the Westwood News: "Win or lose, I don't want to see our team outhustled."
