Selects Earn 3-2 Win Versus Crawdads
|
Selects catcher Eddie Sandoval left his mark on his team's 3-2 win over the Hickory Crawdads. Sandoval was 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for Spokane in the contest. The Selects, at 25-12, lead by one game in their division.
Jaden Lewis was the walk-off hero for Spokane. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Selects center fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"We did enough to win," said Sandoval.
