Schalow Goes Off, But Indians Win
Despite a great performance by Ann Arbor first baseman Hunter Schalow, the Dillonvale Indians defeated the Z's by the score of 12-8 at Knights Ballpark. Schalow hit 2 home runs. He scored 3 times and drove in 4. Ruben Lopez closed it out for Dillonvale, earning his 2nd save. Dillonvale is now 11-27, Ann Arbor 15-23.

Dillonvale used a clutch at-bat from Jonathan Fields to capture the win. The third baseman hammered a grand slam home run in the top of the third inning to put the Indians ahead, 5-1. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"Winning is hard sometimes," said Indians manager Markus Mensink. "This one was nice to get."
