Dillonvale Topples Ann Arbor, 3-1

Ann Arbor got a decent performance from pitcher Brandon Feldman, but it wasn't enough to beat the Dillonvale Indians. Dillonvale won the Knights Ballpark contest, 3-1. Feldman threw 8.0 innings of 5-hit ball for the losing team. Dillonvale pitcher Brandon Williams got the win. He's now 4-1. Brandon Feldman was tagged with the loss. The Indians, at 15-20, inhabit 5th place in the Stripes Conference East Division.
Dillonvale used the clutch hitting of Matt Peterson to snag the win. The first baseman drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Indians ahead, 2-1. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a crucial one.
"Bottom line," said Ann Arbor skipper Bryan Gallegos, "we didn't play well enough to win."
