Belmont Park did not lack for drama.

The Quebec Aces did just enough to secure a victory over the New Rochelle Purple Wave, 4-3, in 10 innings at Belmont Park. Nobody did more than pitcher Justin Hesley. Jonathan Harvey picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 2-2. Sean Harris was tagged with the loss.

Up to bat in the bottom of the tenth, 26-year old third baseman Jonathan Cunningham had a chance to be the hero. New Rochelle pitcher Sean Harris wanted to foil that plan. But with one out, Cunningham grounded out, driving in 1 run. The Aces had themselves a thrilling win.

"We had situations where we should have got some runs in, but we didn't get the runs in," said losing manager Brent Boudreau.

Quebec's record now stands at 17-18, placing them third in the Stripes Conference East Division.
