Leonardi Powers Fighting Quakers Offense
Quebec and Ann Arbor got after it at Toros Ballpark.

The Quebec Fighting Quakers cruised to a win over the Ann Arbor Z's, 13-4, at Toros Ballpark. Ben Leonardi led the way, going 4-for-4 for Quebec. Quebec reliever Jose Ojeda was the winner. His record is now 1-0. Kevin Gibbons took the loss.

The game turned with no one out in the bottom of the fourth. That's when Leonardi hit a solo home run off Kevin Gibbons. It propelled the Fighting Quakers into the lead, 3-2.

Leonardi told the Quebec Daily News: "I'm the straw that stirs the drink."

By defeating Ann Arbor, the 5th-place Fighting Quakers improved to 17-18.
