The skies opened up and the rain fell at Black Diamonds Ballpark.

The Walnut Park Bobcats picked up a win at Black Diamonds Ballpark, knocking off the Dillonvale Indians, 2-1. On the mound for Walnut Park was left-hander Kyle Sandor. He played a key role in the triumph. The second-place Bobcats lifted their record to 19-13.

Walnut Park used the timely hitting of Jon Owens to seize the win. The catcher stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Bobcats on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"I just tried to focus on getting that first guy out every inning," said Sandor.
