New Rochelle turned a good performance from starting pitcher Kevin Clinger into a 4-2 triumph over the Hickory Crawdads at Ballpark of Lexington. After today's action, New Rochelle sits at 17-14; Hickory slips to 19-12.

Luis Casanova dealt the Crawdads a blow in the bottom of the fourth. Batting with the bases loaded and New Rochelle leading 2-1, Casanova hit a first pitch cutter for a run-scoring single.

"Kevin went out and did what we needed," said New Rochelle manager Brent Boudreau.
