The Spokane Selects had their hands full with Quebec Aces starter Sean Torkelson, who frustrated Spokane hitters while leading Quebec to a comfortable, 6-1 win. The Aces saw their win-loss record go to 16-17. At the same time, the Selects fell to 19-14.

Mike Maynard contributed a productive at-bat in the top of the sixth. With a runner on 1st, he hit a single. His at-bat helped Quebec get the win.

"If I go out there and help the team win, that's all you can do," said Torkelson.
