Spokane Selects starter Morgan Jenkins had all his pitches working at Selects Ballpark. His stellar performance paved the way for an easy 8-1 Spokane win over the Quebec Aces. Spokane reliever Tyler Doss was the winner. His record is now 2-0. Josh Bass took the loss. Spokane sits in third place in the Stripes Conference West Division at 18-13.

The Selects used some clutch hitting to beat the Aces, a good example being the at-bat of Curtis Rittenberry in the bottom of the eighth. With two down, Rittenberry gave his team the lead, 2-1, when he hit a run-scoring single.

"We didn't put up much resistance," said losing manager Elias Nunez.
