The home crowd had a good time watching the Spokane Selects and Orono Oaks get after it.

No one was more impactful than Ian Cason in the 4-1 Orono win over Spokane. Cason, who leads the StC in triples with 3, went 2 for 2 with 2 singles and 2 walks. The Oaks have an impressive 20-12 record.

The Oaks got a big at-bat from designated hitter Paul McComas. For the game, McComas was 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the first, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 12th home run of the season gave Orono a 3-0 lead.

McComas said his team "played with focus."
