Orono Topples Quebec, 3-2

The Orono Oaks picked up a win at Toros Ballpark, topping the Quebec Fighting Quakers, 3-2. On the mound for Orono was right-hander Mickey Green. He played a principal role in the triumph. The Oaks improved to a lofty 21-8.
Orono took advantage of an error in the top of the seventh inning. The game was tied, 2-2, when Chris Cooper hit a run-scoring single that was misplayed. It put the Oaks in front, 3-2.
"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Orono skipper Mike Barriga.
